Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of Electors of the Shire of Lake Grace is to be held on Wednesday 4 February at 6:00 pm, Council Chambers, 1 Bishop Street, Lake Grace. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the contents of the Annual Report for 2024/25 along with other general business. Each elector is entitled to one vote; however voting is optional. Members of the public who wish to have questions answered at this meeting may do so by lodging written submissions with the Chief Executive Officer at the Shire of Lake Grace, PO Box 50, Lake Grace WA 6353, or email shire@lakegrace.wa.gov.au no later than Friday 30 January 2026. A copy of the Annual Report for the financial year ended 30 June 2025 is available and may be obtained through our websitewww.lakegrace.wa.gov.au or by phoning 9890 2500 or by collection from the Shire office at 1 Bishop street, Lake Grace. This information sheet has been prepared to assist rural landowners in the Shire of Lake Grace who are considering or may be approached by private companies or contractors seeking to extract sand, gravel or other basic raw materials from their properties on a commercial basis for future development projects. Landowners should be aware of all relevant town planning, local law and environmental considerations before proceeding with any works or entering into any formal agreements.
