Emergency Services Volunteering

Volunteers are an integral part of delivering emergency service activities within our Shire, all emergency services other than Police are run locally by volunteers. 

Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades

The Shire has ten Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades (VBFB) operating within the Shire.

We always welcome new volunteers within our Shire. Registration is free and we will work towards the provision of some Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment along with providing you access to training and development opportunities.
