4WDL has secured $4,508,965 through the State Government's Regional Housing Support Fund to support the delivery of 20 new homes across six local government area in the Wheatbelt and Great Southern. The 4WDL is a voluntary regional organization of local Councils in Western Australia. It includes the Shire of Lake Grace alongside five other shires: Wagin, West Arthur, Williams, Woodanilling, and Dumbleyung. The group meets regularly to collaborate on regional issues like housing, health, and infrastructure.

For the second year in a row the Shire of Lake Grace has appeared in the top 20 list of Regional Councils. We are one of only seven shires who achieved this for the second consecutive time this year.
