The Newdegate Indoor Recreation Centre is the sporting hub of Newdegate with football, hockey, basketball and netball facilities. It also has toilet/change rooms, meeting room, utility room, spacious open meeting/function area, large kitchen with adjoining walk in cool room, bar area facilities and indoor stadium for a variety of sports.

The Centre also houses extensive Family Interest Displays during the annual Newdegate Field Day which is held each September. The event attracts around 12,000 visitors over the two day event which also displays machinery, equipment, livestock, outdoor entertainment and various food stalls on the ovals and areas surrounding the Centre.

The Lake Grace Sports Pavillion is located in the centre of the Lake Grace recreation facilities on Bishop Street.

The building consists of a function area with bar, kitchen facilities, two change rooms and toilet facilities. A commentary box has been erected to the southern side of the building.

Lake Grace boasts two fully reticulated grassed ovals. The Eastern oval, pictured above, is generally used for weekend football and cricket matches, whilst the Western oval is used for hockey matches.

The Western Oval has recently been extended to full football oval size as part of a joint initiative between the Shire and local community. This enables Lake Grace to hold football carnivals and events which require two full sized match venues.

 The grassed Hockey Field adjoining the oval has new installed lights.  

Lake King Sporting Precincts has a fully reticulated grassed oval where regular football games are played on the weekend.

The Newdegate swimming pool is located on Mitchell Street, Newdegate alongside the Education precinct of the town.

The complex has a 25 meter main pool, children's/toddler pool, toilets, change room facilities and various shaded and grassed areas.

To access to the facility you must be an eligible key holder. The key is available upon successful completion of an endorsed aquatic qualification.

The Newdegate swimming pool opening date and pool induction course will be confirmed in the School Newsletter and Community News. An electronic key system is in place and if you have not already obtained your key they are available from Bridget Michell. Your key will not be logged into the computer system until it is paid for.

The Lake Grace Public War Memorial Olympic Pool is located on Bishop Street, Lake Grace, adjacent to the Council Administration Centre and the Lake Grace Recreation Grounds.

The complex has a 50 meter Olympic sized swimming pool complete with 2 toddler/infant pools, BBQ facilities, playground equipment, toilets with disabled access and changerooms.

It is a social hub for community members young and old during the summer months from November through to March. The complex also hosts aquarobics classes, Swim to Rotto and the annual Australia Day Breakfast celebration, in conjunction with the Lake Grace Lions Club.

Pool passes are available from Shire of Lake Grace Reception or a pay-as-you-go facility is also available.
